Romantic Spring Wedding at Van Landingham Estate in Charlotte, NC | Taylor & Anthony
A Garden Celebration Filled with Coastal Blue Details
Surrounded by blooming azaleas and towering trees, Taylor and Anthony celebrated their April wedding at Van Landingham Estate with a design that felt fresh, elegant, and unmistakably spring. Soft shades of coastal blue paired with lush florals and refined garden details created an atmosphere that was both elevated and welcoming, allowing the beauty of the historic Charlotte venue to shine.
From the intimate ceremony beneath the trees to a reception beneath a greenery filled sailcloth tent, every detail reflected the couple’s vision of a romantic spring celebration.
A Ceremony Framed by Spring Blooms
One of the most memorable moments of the day was the ceremony itself, where colorful floral meadows lined the aisle beneath the estate’s mature trees. With white and blush azaleas blooming in the background, the setting required very little embellishment, allowing the natural beauty of Van Landingham Estate to become part of the design.
Taylor wore a timeless satin gown from Bluebird Bridal, featuring delicate floral jacquard throughout the skirt and a dramatic train that flowed beautifully through every portrait. Her bridesmaids wore soft blue gowns that echoed the wedding palette while carrying cheerful spring bouquets filled with peach, yellow, blush, and blue blooms.
Thoughtful Design with Garden Inspired Details
Every reception detail embraced the couple’s romantic spring vision. Curated Events Charlotte created an elegant reception featuring soft blue linens, classic gold chairs, delicate glass candle cylinders, and airy floral centerpieces that kept the overall design light and refined.
Above the dance floor, suspended greenery installations softened the tent while strands of café lighting added warmth as the evening unfolded. Floral meadows surrounded sweetheart and guest tables, creating the feeling that the celebration was nestled within the gardens themselves.
The paper suite introduced the coastal blue palette from the very beginning, while the charming vintage inspired cake carried the same classic aesthetic into dessert.
A Celebration Made to Enjoy
Taylor credits Radiant Bliss Designs with making the entire experience feel effortless.
“Right from when we hired her she was there to answer all questions. Then on the wedding day she handled anything that came up before it even came to our attention, if ever. I really got to relax and let loose, which was so amazing.”
Having every detail expertly managed allowed the couple to be fully present with family and friends throughout the day.
A First Dance Worth Every Practice
One of the highlights of the evening came during the couple’s choreographed first dance.
“We had a choreographed first dance we worked on for about two months. We were SO nervous, but it ended up being so fun and all of our friends and family were cheering so much. It was absolutely worth it.”
The joyful performance quickly became one of the most memorable moments of the reception, perfectly capturing the excitement and personality that defined the celebration.
