A Look Inside the Wed Society | Charlotte 2026 Book of Weddings Release Party

The inaugural Wed Society | Charlotte Book of Weddings officially arrived, and we celebrated the milestone with an evening created around the incredible wedding community that brought its pages to life.

Hosted at The Lumen House, our Southern Summer Soirée brought together Charlotte wedding professionals for an evening filled with vibrant color, thoughtful details, interactive experiences, live entertainment, and, of course, the highly anticipated reveal of our very first cover.

More than a release party, the evening was an opportunity to celebrate the creativity, collaboration, and talent found throughout Charlotte’s wedding industry and the people who made our inaugural Book of Weddings possible.

A Southern Summer Soirée at The Lumen House

Set against the beautiful backdrop of The Lumen House, the evening was brought to life by Jenkins & Co. Weddings, who helped transform our Southern Summer Soirée vision into a celebration filled with color, texture, and elevated summer style.

Vibrant florals by Everything Pretty Collective filled the space with fresh color, while Curated Events Charlotte and SIPS Rentals layered in beautiful rentals and decor that gave every corner of the celebration its own moment.

From the tables and gathering spaces to the details guests encountered throughout the evening, the design felt bright, welcoming, and perfectly suited for a summer celebration in the Carolinas.

Alexis Scott Designs completed the experience with custom signage that carried the look of the evening throughout the venue and brought an extra layer of personality to each activation.

An Evening Designed to Be Experienced

We wanted the release party to feel like more than a beautiful event. We wanted our guests to have something new to discover throughout the evening.

At the custom perfume bar by Glow Chemistry, guests became their own perfumer for the night, choosing from wedding inspired scents like The First Kiss, Champagne Toast, The Bridal Suite, and Just Married before blending a signature fragrance to take home.

Glow Girl brought a little something permanent to the party with a jewelry experience where guests could select their favorite chain, find the perfect fit, and leave with a keepsake from the evening.

The fun continued with Poza Photo Booth, where plenty of glitter turned every photo into a moment worth remembering.

And for an especially personal keepsake, J. Elizabeth Art captured guests throughout the celebration with live portraits they could take home at the end of the night.

As one final keepsake, guests left with a custom magnet created by Ever After Bouquet, designed to hold onto a favorite photo or memory from an evening worth remembering.

Each experience brought something different to the soirée and gave our guests another way to celebrate, connect, and create a memory from the evening.

Summer Sips and Bites

No celebration is complete without incredible food and drinks.

Carolina Crafted Cuisine kept guests well fed throughout the evening, while Bartenders Plus made sure the drinks were flowing and the glasses were ready for plenty of celebratory toasts.

One of the evening’s coolest details came courtesy of Artisan Ice Sculptures, whose custom ice added another statement moment to the celebration.

Together, the food, drinks, and details created an experience that encouraged guests to mingle, explore the venue, and enjoy a summer evening with Charlotte’s wedding community.

The Soundtrack to the Celebration

The energy of the evening was brought to life by EastCoast Entertainment | SPIKED feat. DJ Elixer.

From the first arrivals through the biggest moments of the night, music helped set the pace of the celebration and eventually brought everyone together to celebrate the launch of the book.

With Jonah of DJs on the Half Shell guiding the evening as MC, guests were able to experience each moment together, leading up to the one we had all been waiting for.

The Big Reveal

After months of submissions, selections, design, production, and anticipation, it was finally time to reveal the very first Wed Society | Charlotte Book of Weddings cover.

With our members and wedding community gathered together, Taylor and Meg shared a few words about what this inaugural edition represented before raising a glass to the talented professionals whose work fills its pages.

Then came the reveal.

For the first time, guests saw Haley and Mark on the cover of the 2026 Charlotte Book of Weddings, featuring their romantic Duke Mansion celebration beautifully photographed by Casey Hendrickson Photography.

The moment marked not only the official arrival of our first Book of Weddings, but the beginning of a new chapter for Wed Society | Charlotte.

Seeing members discover their work throughout the book, find familiar weddings within its pages, and celebrate one another made the reveal even more meaningful.

Capturing Every Moment

With so much happening throughout the evening, we knew we wanted to preserve both the beautiful details and the energy behind them.

House of Willingham documented the celebration through photography and film, capturing everything from the thoughtful design and guest experiences to the cover reveal itself.

BTS with Bonfante captured the celebration from a content creator’s perspective, giving us an inside look at the candid interactions, behind the scenes moments, and excitement happening throughout the soirée.

Together, their work allows us to revisit an evening that seemed to pass far too quickly.

A Celebration of Charlotte’s Wedding Community

The inaugural Book of Weddings was created to celebrate the weddings happening right here in Charlotte and the talented people behind them.

The release party gave us the opportunity to bring that same community together in one room.

To every member who attended, every creative partner who helped bring the Southern Summer Soirée to life, every couple who submitted their wedding, and every wedding professional whose work appears throughout our inaugural edition, thank you.

This first book represents so much of what we love about Charlotte’s wedding community: creativity, collaboration, beautiful celebrations, and people who genuinely champion one another.
