A Modern Two Day Wedding at The Union Exchange | Tate & Alex
Tate and Alex celebrated their wedding over two days at The Union Exchange in Monroe, North Carolina, giving them more time to enjoy the people, details and moments that made the weekend their own.
Set against the venue’s wooded landscape, their celebration paired refined wedding style with an easygoing outdoor setting. Crisp white florals, warm candlelight and classic black tie attire created a polished look that felt right at home among the trees. With Memorable Moments by Mrs Alexandra helping bring the plans together, the weekend unfolded from an intimate ceremony among the pines into an evening filled with celebration.
A Modern Bridal Look
Tate’s bridal style brought a fashion forward element to the weekend. Her lace gown featured a full skirt and delicate detailing, while a cropped white jacket added a modern layer for portraits later in the day.
A simple bouquet of white calla lilies complemented the look beautifully. The sculptural flowers made a statement through their simplicity and carried the clean white palette throughout the celebration.
ParksPictures Photography captured the details of Tate’s look along with portraits of the couple throughout The Union Exchange, from the open lawn to the wooded areas surrounding the venue.
A Ceremony Among the Pines
The wooded grounds of The Union Exchange created a naturally beautiful setting for the ceremony. Tate and Alex exchanged vows beneath a wooden arbor accented with soft draping and colorful florals, surrounded by towering pine trees and strands of lights overhead.
After the ceremony, the landscape gave the couple plenty of space for portraits. ParksPictures photographed Tate and Alex walking through the pines and enjoying golden hour around the property before joining their guests for the reception.
Dinner by Candlelight
The reception design continued the understated palette with long tables lined in white flowers and glowing candles. Clear glass vessels and varying candle heights added dimension while keeping the tablescape clean and intimate.
As daylight faded, string lights illuminated the open air pavilion at The Union Exchange and the focus shifted from dinner to celebrating. POZA Photobooth gave guests a fun way to capture their own moments from the evening while adding another interactive element to the reception.
A Dance Floor Worth Staying For
Once the music started, DJs on the Half Shell kept the celebration moving. Tate and Alex joined their guests on the dance floor beneath the pavilion lights, creating some of the most joyful images from the weekend.
Cheers to the happy couple!
